About us

Tools for the people who ask the public for help.

Face-to-face fundraising raises a large share of regular gifts for UK charities. It is also hard, public and closely regulated work. We exist to make it more skilled, more ethical and more sustainable.

Why we built it

Sign-ups are counted carefully. Almost everything that explains them is not.

Most agencies run on spreadsheets, group chats and the instincts of good team leaders. A fundraiser who had a poor day hears their number, rarely the reason. A new team leader is promoted for their own results, then left to work out how to help four other people improve.

We built one system for the whole working life of a fundraiser: recruitment, training, practice, deployment, measurement, coaching, promotion and pay. A pattern in the field data becomes a lesson, a practice session and a coaching conversation, and the result is measured afterwards.

What we believe

Six principles we build to

Quality is part of performance

A sign-up that is cancelled next week, or that came from pressure, is not a success. We measure validated sign-ups, complaints and compliance next to volume, and no board rewards one without the other.

Training never teaches manipulation

Our academies teach clear stories, confident asks and good listening. They also teach when to stop. Every supporter keeps the right to an informed choice and to say no.

People make the decisions

The system suggests what to coach and where a team might go tomorrow, always with its evidence. Promotion, discipline and pay stay human decisions, recorded with a reason.

Fundraisers are not surveillance targets

Location sharing runs only between clock in and clock out, pauses on breaks, shows clearly on the phone, and every view of it is logged.

Each organisation owns its data

Every organisation runs on its own address with its own branding. Its data is separated from every other organisation at the database level, not only in the application.

Pay people can check

Wages, commission and overrides are worked out from the tracker and the clock, and every line shows its sum. Nobody should have to take their pay on trust.

Who we work with

Agencies and charities with face-to-face teams

Fundraising agencies that run door-to-door, street and private-site teams for charity clients, and charities that run their own programmes. We also run the Fun In Raising toolkit shop, with planners and templates for schools, clubs and smaller charities.
